Perfect for a night out or concert in Birmingham. The room was very small so a longer stay would be rough. Right in the centre so perfect for symphony hall, O2 academy, bullring, and the theaters. Clean and the receptionist was friendly and efficient. A couple of nice bars and resteraunts across the road.

Comfortable basic stay

The room we had was very nice and clean with basic but modern facilities. We booked a room without windows as we were only staying overnight and found the noise from the neighbouring nightclub/pub was audible until late at night. The only downside with this stay was there were only two very thin pillows in the room so we had to improvise and only one towel was left, which we had to ask for extra. The staff were friendly and helpful 😊

VERY BASIC. TO EXPENSIVE

Easy Hotel is just basic. Bed is almost on the floor. Room heating has no instructions on how to use it and just blows cold. View from little window was a brick wall. No table or cupboard to put bags. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Very poor for the price.

Convenient hotel for an overnight stay. The rooms are very small and the amenities are basic, but it's clean, safe and right near the station, all for a good price. The front desk is operated 24 hours with polite, helpful staff. You can request things such as a hairdryer, however they are in high demand and there are not always enough to go around – so you may have to ask again in the morning. The bathroom in our double-bed room was not very private – glass doors with no locks – so bear that in mind depending on who you're sharing a room with. I was with my partner, so it wasn't an issue. We extra paid for a room with a window, but this isn't really necessary considering the hotel isn't particularly tall, so there isn't much to see. Walls are quite thin and you can sometimes hear other guests and sounds from outside. There's a vending machine with snacks and a coffee machine (all drinks £2), but for breakfast I'd recommend Cherry Red's across the road. There are some nice Asian restaurants around for dinner, too. You get what you pay for, and this is an average albeit suitable hotel for the price. Recommended if you're in Birmingham overnight for a concert.

Very close to the city centre, especially New Street. I left my hotel and was on my platform within 5 minutes. If you’re simply looking for basic, functional room, this represent good value. Much better than anything else for this price.

Let’s start with the good, the staff is truly amazing. Before even arriving to the hotel I couldn’t find the entrance and stopped to ask a lady if she knew where it was, surprisingly it turned out she works at the hotel and insisted on walking me to the door, thank you kindly for this Honey. Once inside I was checked-in and looked after by Violeta, who was extremely helpful and genuinely nice, I want to thank you too. Unfortunately, after a couple of hours I noticed the heating in my room wasn’t working, mind you this is a cold country and we’re in the middle of winter. Violeta did try to help me but unfortunately they didn’t have any extra heaters and I had to make do with 2 extra duvets. It was okay, I managed to warm up, but what a dreadful morning it was when I realised I would have to get off from under the covers in a freezing cold room, it was absolutely horrible. You have great staff and a great location, and I do 100% give a 5 star rating to the staff, but having a freezing cold room is just unacceptable. I do hope you get this sorted out soon for future guests.

Top 5 star budget hotel - super service

I stayed one night. I’ve given a 4 star rating for the room, and 5 stars for the service and location. Overall, I’ve just about gone for a 5 stars despite minor issues with the room. The reason for this is that this is a 3 star budget hotel, so I’m basing the 5 star rating on the fact that, for such a hotel, it is excellent. So bear that in mind while you read the review. So, let’s start with the room - sorry I didn’t take photos this time. It’s a decent size, there’s no clothes storage space (not that I needed it), the single bed mattress was fairly comfortable, the bathroom is small and the sink was blocked making the sink bowl fill up with water which took a while to go down. Anyway, the big pluses are the excellent, powerful, roomy shower (which takes up most of the bathroom) and the powerful toilet. It’s a little close to the wall but it’s fine. Overall, the bathroom was clean, as was the bedroom. A decent level of cleanliness. Now, I stayed in a first floor room above the Turtle Bay bar. Thankfully they close at 11pm so the noise and vibrations stopped soon thereafter, but there was a bit of outside noise and vibration coming from some other nearby night spot - it wasn’t very bad though, and I was still able to sleep pretty comfortably. The location is perfect - a stone’s throw from New Street station and 5 minutes walk from the High Street. Now, I save the best for last - the service. In particular, I’d like to praise Anjali for her friendliness and helpfulness. Howeve
