Probably Against Regulation

The room had no window, which I can't imagine is legal, no chair (not that there would be space for one), not even a water glass in the bathroom area (not a separate room). I had to hook the door to the hanger with my belt to let some air in. Room cleanup is not included in your stay, though I'm not sure if it would have mattered as there was hair everywhere and the floor was sticky when I checked in. The room is just one bed with an attached shower and toilet, there is not enough space to let your legs down the side of the bed, unless it's the part near the lower end that's adjacent to the door. Good practice if you're looking at jail time and plan to frequent solitary and a good reminder to never let anyone else book a hotel for you. Only saving grace is the proximity to the train station and city center, but do not expect any help from staff regardning navigation and travel.

Easy Birmingham stay to watch All England Badminto

Nice pleasant check-in (sorry can't remember the name of the lady) Comfy bed, hot shower. A bit of noise at night but we were close to bars. Violeta on checkout was very efficient and polite

Handy for Birmingham centre.

Handily located , a short walk from train station and Birmingham shops and amenities, quirky hotel run by easy jet . Friendy staff ,small basic rooms with limited but adequate amenities, but clean and as advertised and expected .

Clean and convenient location, but very basic facilities in the room, just a bed. No shelves or table, no where to put your clothes, everything had to go on the floor.

Room size was so small my luggage bag could not get past the bed so had to lift over to get to to the little floor space Freezing room, maximum temp 25 still released cold air the entire day. And very thin duvet with no external heater option, had to use additional bath towel as blanket to sleep. No fresh air - as window does not open. No storage cupboards, just two hangers on wall. Bathroom door design allows no privacy within room as has a big gauging hole in the door and on the side of the door facing directly towards the toilet and also has glass parts to the door top and bottom of door. Otherwise, cleanliness was great. Reception staff were helpful. Building felt secure inside.

It was a fine place to stay for a night if you're spending most of the time out, but the room is very small, with just a bed and shower/toilet which is semi transparent for some reason. So if your not at the stage yet just bear that in mind if you get my drift. I wouldn't stay here for longer trips though, just in case I need down time in the room.

Compact and Convenient

The hotel is well placed for the city centre and good value. Basic but it is a comfortable room. Very compact. I would not have wanted to be a couple or have much more luggage. Fluffy towel rating 8 out of 10 good bath towel but no hand towel.

Great location

Great location and a nice welcome from the staff and very clean. Drawbacks - very hard bed (but I'm a bit fussy about beds) and it was SO hot that it was uncomfortable - we could not work out how to turn the heat down.

No frills - good value for city centre.

Very clean. All frills removed which is why it is so inexpensive for a city centre hotel. Be aware some rooms don’t have windows. I now make sure I get a room with a window. There also isn’t a kettle or way to make drinks in your room, but you can buy drinks downstairs. If you only need your hotel to sleep in this is absolutely fine.
