Nice alternative to N.O. An hour out
It is a casino stay. Hotel room nice and very comfortable. They allow smoking in casino but whatever they use to mask smoke smells nice. Waking up early and going out to gulf and having a minute to myself was amazing and beautiful. We would stay again

Did not like that the casino was not smoke free being that you must go through the casino to get to the hotel. Rooms are nice and clean and staff was friendly. I would not stay here again due to the smoke issue, especially if you a person who suffers with sinuses not recommended.

Everythibng was nice. The bed and pillows great. Anytime I stay at a hotel, we don't receive enough sugar packets for the amount of coffee. Just add a few more packets of coffee. Otherwise, it was nice. Maybe instructions on how to operate room air conditioning. Old people can't read the small writing. OK otherwise, nice stay.. AND once I would like to walk out a winner just like everyone else says, I'm sure.

I like the beach; my husband likes the penny slots; this seemed to be a perfect hotel for us. We only stayed one night, and it was fine. I was put off by the texts the days before until I realized that we could check-in remotely via the links. The ability to download an app, receive our key digitally so we could open the door with our phone was intriguing, until we could not open the door. The room was comfortable, except for the pillows, which were flat and unsupportive. There were no towel racks to hang towels which is an oversight by almost every hotel. I liked the convenience of the shampoo, conditioner and body soap dispensers in the shower. However, I felt like I could not rinse off the odd film that I thought was a result of the shampoo until my husband said he felt the same and he did not use any of the convenient toiletries. We concluded that it was the water itself. I was surprised that there was no refrigerator in the room, but we could rent one for $20 a night (we did without). The beach area is small, and it seemed like there were no chairs or lounges for guests to use. The pool had some, but not the beach. There was also a bar and picnic tables in the open ground floor of the hotel, but not open during our stay. The casino has the basic fare of games and restaurants. The $25 voucher to the Palm Cafe covered our large and delicious breakfast. All the staff we encountered were quite friendly and helpful.
