Could have been better

The bunk provided had the springs on the bottom broken and squeaked whenever you moved. I had to go to check in at 3 am to request to be moved to another room. In this room, around 10 pm, a guest on our floor let their kids run and scream up and down the hall. Someone finally had to go and tell the kids to knock it off because people paid good money and were trying to sleep. To top it off, a small child was found wandering the hallway the next morning and brought to the front desk to find the parents. What is really going on with society? The hotel could have kept the floors cleaner in the rooms and made sure the proper amount of linen was in the room.

Took our kids here and they loved it. The room was nice and clean. We did have to get new linens because there was a mark on it. The kids loved the pool and the food was good at the pool area. We also played video games at the arcade. The kids loved that also. It was a great trip and is definitely somewhere to take the kids.

Me and my son‘s first day there was great. The second day I went to the swim bar to get us a drink because me and my son were hot and thirsty. There were people there before me so I waited for them to get served and then when it was my turn three other people swim up to the bar and she served them first. I told her I was there first and she told me I could wait when I went to talk to somebody else about this incident they act like I was the problem, then follow me to the elevator because I told him I will be going to check out and I talked to the manager downstairs. Told the people at the front desk. I need to check out and tell them what happened needless to say you already know my skin color. Will not be spending my Hard Earned Money with people who think it’s OK to treat people poorly just because the color of their skin.

The wait for an elevator too long and it was a conversation I had with other customers staying at the hotel. We went with grandchildren (ages 4 and 6) who really enjoyed the water slides and the rides at Paradise Pier.

Biggest problem involved the elevators. Four for the entire building. They have one that serves the upper floors, but it’s used by the hotel staff too. I sometimes waited 20 minutes because the elevators would be full by the time they came to the floor. The majority of pool bartenders were not friendly, although one was pretty good. Tons of unsupervised kids running around in the pool area. The arcade was fun. The restaurant decent but typical for Margaritaville. I will go elsewhere next time.
