For being so close to a major road and lots of shops and strip malls, the hotel was very peaceful. The bedding showed signs of wear, but the room was clean and the level of lighting was great. However, only one elevator was in operation during the three days I was there.

The front desk was under construction and loud jackhammering while trying to communicate with the front desk staff. The gym was large with a significant number of equipment options. Nice to have water available in the lobby and dispensers next to the ice machines in the hallways.

The hotel charged me $65.21 more then expedia's quote. I did not receivea receipt. No explaination for higher charge. The hotel has two elevators and one was no working when l checked in. They put me on the seventh floor and the second elevator broke while we were there. I had to walk up the stairs twice and down once. My feet were hurting after a day of walking in D.C. the clerk said l would get accomadated but the manager never called me. Worst experience after two weeks of staying in hotels. There is no microwave in the room.

My room was extremely nasty, the sheets was ripped and had stain so i had to ask for a new one, the floor was dirty which i thought was just stain however the next morning when the room got cleaned the dirt was removed so it seems that our room had not been mopped prior to us receiving it. And there was hair on the walls in the tub.

A work in progress as off 10/24 - all that noise!
This place has a lot of potential. Itā€™s a nice location, the rooms are large and clean, and the staff onsite was nice. However, theyā€™re renovating and between 9 am - 6 pm there is work going on 7 days a week. At times it was so loud I could feel the building shake on the 4th floor. I get that renovations need to happen and theyā€™ll eventually make this a much better hotel, but I wish they had told me ahead of time how loud it would be all day every day. I wouldā€™ve stayed elsewhere. It seems a bit dishonest that the company would still charge guests a lot of money without giving them notice of the condition of the place. If you want to stay here, call before booking to see whatā€™s going on with the renovations. I bet itā€™ll be a really nice hotel someday so disregard this review once the renovations are done. Well, maybe not the bit about the company being misleading.

I enjoyed my stay here. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the area was nice to stay in. Super convenient since thereā€™s a store across the street and the train station is as well. Unfortunately, the elevator was kind of slow to come get us at the ground floor so a lot of people would pack in, which I didnā€™t enjoy. The room could be set up in a different way maybe with more clothes storage and a couch. A lot of empty space wasted basically. Another little problem I had was I booked a king bed and got a queen no biggie but wouldā€™ve liked to have the bed I booked.

I liked that there is a yoga mat and exercise equipment in the room. The workout room is also very good. What I did not like is that the bathroom door is a sliding glass door, and does not shut all the way, so there is very little privacy.
