Love Bethesda
This is my favorite local hotel. I've stayed here 4 times in the past year. The rooms are spacious and the furniture is comfortable. I tend to enjoy the bar downstairs for a nightcap. And the breakfast is good. Parking is the only downside, as I find it to be busy at times or it's being blocked due to an emergency (happened every time I stayed here). But overall the hotel itself and the staff are great. Prime location as well for all the restaurants in the area.

The hotel itself is well-maintained. I liked that they had filtered water available to refill a bottle. I did not try the breakfast but appreciated the coffeemaker in the room. It is around several blocks to Metro. When I booked the room, the website indicated that parking is available. What I did not see immediately was that parking was $40/night. Maybe they should mention this upfront?

There was an organization done by the hotel, a party for the high school kids. The noise was insane and non-stop. The front desk helped and moved me to another room. But security was not helpful. I did not want to move. Someone could have come after I called twice to tell them to quiet down or kick them out. The hotel became a giant high school party, kids kicking the doors, screaming and turning up the music. This is unacceptable by any hotel. This should have been stopped right away.
