The young skinny Asian boy at the reception is rude and lacks customer service . Needs more training on how to talk to clients . The young lady might be in training did say a word and was just looking at him , didn’t place a word , she was shocked at his behavior ! I would never stay there ever nor recommend STEIGENBERGER AIRPORT HOTEL BERLIN to my company executives

I enjoyed the close proximity to the airport, where i could walk to the check-in, despite my handicaps walking. The registration desk service was excellent. The restaurant food was delicious. However the room service was mostly unavailable when I called. As a handicapped person, walking across the entire 4th floor to and from the elevators to get to the restaurant was often difficult.

Limited room service offering and a 10 euro plate charge if you do take it up, on top of the expensive prices, the room was pretty bare (1 pillow only!). Nice layout of room but I stayed twice in 4 nights in different rooms and both had issues with the smell coming from the shower drain, clearly a problem that needs sorting out. Location is perfect to walk into airport arrivals/departures but a few things let the place down overall.

The check in was smooth, but the attendant mentioned that this room had a good view. Unfortunately it faced the entrance/ exit to the terminal and very noisy if you open the window. The Air conditioner did not work either, so I was forced to open the window and could hear every suitcase hitting the pavement. The Air conditioner did not work all night. Additionally, the steam room in wellness was also out of order. One pillow in the room is also not acceptable.

Not up to it's usual high standards this time

This is a great hotel. I've stayed before. However, I dislike having to check myself in via a Smart Pad system. Firstly, all my book in information from my original booking is never carried forward, so I have to repeat everything again - address, invoice address, personal details etc. It's a pain in the neck! Please revert back to check in staff and please exchange data from this booking site with the hotel to save time at check in. Also my toilet cistern tank was pumping water all night. Noisy and waste of water.
