An upgraded GDR time hotel; an clean and pleasant place to be, with big windows and good transportation options. The sole electricity connection in a room and really old and worn bathroom equipment can pose a bit of problem.

AVOID. You could hear everything happening 5 units down and in between. The non smoking room smelled so heavily of smoke I struggled to sleep. There were multiple arguments happening which concerned me. No heat. Just a white room. When someone in the next room arrived it sounded like they were in our room. The walls are so thin.

Okay if only needed a place to sleep
We were assigned a room at 5th floor. And guess what? The lift is non-functional and yes we carry our heavy luggage. They could have mentioned it in their property page. Anyhow, Maskenpflicht signage is on the door but not any of the staff wear one, and it was not imposed to the guests also. With regards to the room, it was ordentlich and clean. Towels are available. The room we booked is with twin-bed, and gladly they gave us double-bed.

Their elevator is extremely old. I was trapped in the elevator for at least 1 hour. Their staff is extremely rude, not only does not apologize, but is also extremely arrogant. I asked for a refund the next day but refused, shamelessly rogue hotel.

The man in the reception was completely unprofessional. I mean about the Covid restriction. Checking was taking so long. the room was dirty on the floor. The price was OK but totally not.
