Helpful staff

The staff were extremely helpful and the room was much bigger than expected. However there was a building site right next to the hotel and this meant our nights sleep was disrupted. Also there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and no mini fridge.

Room was big and empty, nothing like what is on the pictures. Be careful, there is absolutely no A/C in all of the rooms in this hotel. There was construction next door so very noisy and impossible to have a late morning sleep. Also, the cleaning staff kept on knocking at 8:30 AM for room cleaning. The bathroom was up-to-date with a nice big bathtub and clean tiles.

Berlin Marathon respite

I visited Mark Apart hotel end of September 2021. The check-in was easy. Had to show passport and vaccination card. The room was in the back of the 3rd floor which was a little disappointing. The hallway was dark and there was an empty vending machine on the floor. I was hoping for a balcony room. The bed was firm and pillow was one huge pillow. The key also controlled the electricity....which meant when you leave the room you take the key out the electricity shuts off. Interesting eco feature. Sucks if you were looking to charge a electronic equipment while you were out. The comforters were comfortable but hot but there wasn't a thermostat or air-conditioning so we were hot most nights. Best part of the stay was breakfast. Definitely a great selection, nice clean dining room...bring your own wash cloths.

Next to this property is construction going on, there is no parking. Before booking this hotel I specifically paid attention if there is parking, it was not. Information provided to Expedia is misleading. I guess there is no parking do to construction, but nothing was mentioned. It was a big disappointment for me as I had a business meeting set up and had to go to a different hotel where I parked my car to get things I need.Parking was also 20eur , not 14eur.Hotel need some refurbishing, in my room 102 it was difficult to regulate water, water was so hot.The "BEST" was a receptionist who after I paid city tax by credit card start coping my card, when I asked what she is doing with my card , her reply was that I give to Expedia different card and she needs to take details from this one. I said to her that this is the only card I use for my travels and for Expedia. So, my ADVICE TO WHOM WIL READ THIS REVIEW. DO NOT TAKE OUT OF YOUR SITE YOUR CREDIT CARD , BECAUSE WHEN YOU CHECK-IN AT THE RECEPTION YOU GET A PAPER WHERE YOU HAVE TO GIVE YOUR FULL ADDRESS, ZIP CODE , YOUR NAME, EMAIL, TEL. NUMBER. THAN YOU GUESS WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN IF RECEPTIONIST IS NOT HONEST AND COPIED YOUR CARD.

Hotel is in a convenient location and rooms are pleasing for a 3 star category. However I was most impressed by the breakfast room including both soya and lactose free milk, as I am lactose intolerant. I recommend the hotel, in particular those with a health concern.
