It was a lovely hotel. The area is amazing. Touristy enough but calm. If you want to be where all the tourist attractions are, do not stay here. But if you want to see more German people and still be close to tourist things and be in a nice area, definitely recommend. The room was pretty big with a comfortable bed. The tv was not a smart tv and the Roku didn’t fit so it was annoying at night. The service was not great, asked for a few things multiple times before getting done and the lobby people were not very keen on helping. But it wasn’t bad. Overall a good stay, I would probably stay there again.

i have to complain about a unfair check-in treatment to us. I booked two superior rooms for our two couples. When we arrived around 2 pm for check-in, there were two ladies at the front desk. The taller lady said there is only one room available and we have to come back later to check in for the second room. I agreed to check in the first room. But when we entered the room, we found out the room has two separate twin beds. We called the front desk and asked to change to a queen bed room. The front desk said we can switch to the next door room that has a queen bed, and told us to stay there and they will deliver the room key to us. But a few minutes later, two white male customers came and said they just checked in and got this room. We were confused about that they were behind us in the check-in queue and how come they got the room. We asked the front desk lady and she did not give us any explanation and told us there is no room available. Later another front desk lady somehow found a second room for us. I and my wife still stayed in the two separate twin beds during our entire vacation in Berlin.

My room was smaller than in my previous stays, darker (only one window) and had a bit of an odor. Room 228. I was probably the worst room I had after staying at Hotel Zoo 4 times. Not awful but a lower standard than before.

We were only in Berlin for a short time, but we lucked out with this hotel. It was spacious, nice amenities, and much more beautiful than we had anticipated. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and we enjoyed the area (great for shopping)

Reception staff could give a bit more!
Amazing hotel, very chic. The only thing i would say is no personal touch at checkout, all they asked was if i had anything from the mini bar, not how was your stay and i stayed for 2 nights!, infact, the girl checking me out was too busy talking to the other two guys (one reception, one who shows you to your room), shame as the hotel itself was lovely.
