We approached what looked like the main lobby but no answer. Finally saw someone and tried to check-in from the freezing rain around 5pm and the room wasn't ready. We were asked to come back after 15 minutes.
The pluses were that room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. BUT there was a depression on the floor covered by a rug where it could be a trip hazard. There were also a few buckling ceiling tiles over one of the beds. Best of all, NO hot water. Mind you, the weather dipped in the 30s and heavy rain. All to say - GO and don't stay here.
Good - Owner was very accommodating to our needs. Room was clean and bed was comfortable,
Could be better - Difficult to tell where the office was. Some late check-in people were very noisy. Rooms are very outdated and need to be spruced up (peeling wallpaper, some locks not functional. Holes in wall where headboard and bathroom heater were.)
This is a fine, no frills establishment. Ours was a quick overnight and it was just fine for that. A good bed, shower, etc and very clean and comfortable. Best bargin in an overpriced market.
Val is updating the motel and is super friendly. The location can’t be beat, stunning views of the green mountains!
The rooms are older but he’s keeping everything clean and functional.
No WiFi, no staff available, no phone number to call.

Very clean. A modest place, which represents excellent value for this popular resort town

Its seen her day
The room had no microwave or desk. Just 2 lamps. Dark. Curtains didnt work well. Shower stall had mold on ceiling.
Room was large and bathroom had nice size counter separate from shower and urinal.
The place had seen its day. Needs deep clean and painting and new lighting.
This was the most awful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There were at least 10 holes in the wall and floor and some were stuffed with paper towels, one was stuffed with a scrunched up plastic bottle. Stains on the inside of the shower curtain, stains on the bathroom wall. All four lampshades were broken badly. The curtains were barely hanging, and would not open. Smelled bad. The only thing was, the bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were clean and had been ironed. I travel quite often and usually get fairly positive reviews. This place was a real dump.
loved the area around the motel, lots of open space and very peaceful.
the rooms could use an update at some point, otherwise nice

Bof
Dans son jus vieillot, odeurs dans la chambre.
Sdb, ne pas regarder la fenêtre sale avec toiles d'araignée.
Accueil minimum.
Bref pour une nuit pas plus.

I remember driving past this motel when I was a child (60 years ago). I needs some renovations. It's shabby, and a bit overpriced, all things considered. However, it can be very hard to find a room at any price in Manchester, VT. I was there for my 55th high school reunion and felt fortunate to be able to rent a room Though some friends offered to put me up for free, I booked this room, not wanting to take advantage of their kindness.
Unfortunately this place was more like The Bates Motel. The gentleman that runs it was very friendly, but we pulled up to see two police cars trying to remove someone. There was room door open to another room that looked like a hoarder lived in it.
Someone in town told us the states is using places like this to house people when they get out of the hospital.
Please, don’t stay here!!!
