It was not like commercial hotel stays. Was thoroughly enjoyable. My little cabin was recently updated and was delightful.

Pleasant motel to stay in.
The room was lovely, but my husband found the mattress too soft and didn’t sleep well. I thought it was perfect but the pillows were too hard. The owner was so helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with her. Breakfast was just right with a nice country flair. The grounds were enjoyable to take a stroll. We enjoyed our stay there.

I had booked the place for my Aunts as they were up in the area to attend my daughters wedding. They helped provide transportation via an excellent taxi service .The car service went above and beyond for my Aunts. My Aunts loved the breakfast and every moment of there stay at Hardwood Hill Motel Definitely recommend

Quiet, clean room, lousy bed
Quick, friendly check in. Room was clean. However, it smelled strongly of their fragranced cleaners. It really choked us up and brought on coughing fits for both of us. Had to open the door and turn the AC fan on high to get rid of the excess fragrance smell. The pillows were flat. One side of the bed was extremely broken down. I actually laid in a deep indentation on my side of the bed.

It was a very cute motel with a nicely updated bathroom. It was very clean and homey. I was raines out of my tent for a dog event and they accepted me and my two dogs no problem and very welcoming staff! I would definitely stay again.
