Anel at the front desk was wonderful. She came up to the room herself and helped fix the TV and air conditioning. Called for us a taxi and got us fresh towels and coffee. Hotel was undergoing construction that was the only complaint

Hotel is great. The best. Area is not great but safe enough. Hotel shuttle is good but not cheap. Restaurant is very good atmosphere. Cruise ship terminal is close by for walking.

Hotel is currently building a second wing. Construction noise is a minimum, yet southern views impeded. Restaurant food is very good and staff is very attentive including Holdane and Hairo.

Nice sea view from the room and from the restaurant upstairs. Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. It was noisy during the day because there is construction to build an adjacent building. Also loud noise from closing of the doors because the floors are all hard surfaces. Good location at the bay , just 10 to 15 minutes walk from the ferry dock.

Construction of a 5 story building right next to the Golden Bay hotel doesn’t make for a quiet stay or easy access. They’re also working on the rooms in the Golden Bay hotel drilling pounding yelling 8-5PM…daily…. I couldn’t eat the mussels. There were so tough. Staff was very, very accommodating..

Perfect for two nights in the city

Just lovely, and the on-site market was unexpected plus. The construction project blocked our view, which was the only disappointment but not a big deal as we were in and out. Biggest plus was the wonderful staff. Also Vino Tinto!

This hotel has everything you need for a day's stay (a rooftop restaurant, and a store on the first level). However, if you want to do things outside of the hotel, there is much around. The staff is extremely helpful in booking you a taxi, and the food is amazing at the rooftop restaurant.
