Enjoy the free ski shuttle and an indoor pool at The Resort at Glade Springs during the winter, and return in the summer for a round at the resort's golf course.
The Resort at Glade Springs offers 200 air-conditioned accommodations with coffee/tea makers and hair dryers. Flat-screen televisions are featured in guestrooms. Refrigerators and microwaves are provided. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations.

Nice resort with lots of activities & very helpful staff. The resort looks like it could use a face lift ; looking a little dated. However, our family members all loved having our own mini condos & yet we could gather in the evening to hang out together. We would definitely return to this property.

Executive Suites
We stayed in the executive suites which was not part of the main hotel. They are dated and had a musty odor. The beds were comfortable but the furniture in the living room was not. Everyone was friendly and the shuttle service is great! We didnt stay in the room much, so it wasn't really a big deal, just not what i expected. Next time i will stay in the main hotel though.

We stayed in the executive suites. We arrived between 3 and 4 but our room was not ready. We were told we’d get a text when it was ready but that didn’t happen and we returned to the lobby at 5 to check in. We asked for a late check out and were told the room was already reserved for the next day. The living area was dark, cushions torn, bed lumpy with flat pillows, and our sink was clogged. We check out the following day and spent the day playing golf. Around 5 we realized we’d rather stay another night so we went to get another room. We were given a different room in the executive suites and realized that we had left items in our old room. We were then told the room was unoccupied so we could go check for the items. (But for some reason we were not allowed a late checkout?) The items were not there and we were told to check back again. The second room had the same furnishing problems but the drain was not clogged. We attempted the breakfast on our first day and none of the sternos were burning so the food was luke warm at best, the potatoes were dry and inedible, the bread was stale ( can’t just keep recycling that bread day after day) Just very disappointing. This is supposed to be one of the nicest places to stay in the area and the property is beautiful but come on. Small talk cafe was excellent, though. Also, stop serving brown lettuce in your salads at Bunkers. I’ve been there several times and it seems to be a recurring theme. We did finally get our missing items.

Beautiful location, lovely facilities. My cottage had flimsy boards on the porch, which need replacing. My room was very nice, but also had some structural integrity issues. The floor was very wavy. The uneven floor made it impossible to close the bathroom door. (Thank goodness I was alone.)The HVAC units in the room were not working properly, but maintenance responded very quickly.

Always prompt courteous service, always good food, always a helpful staff. The lodge Rooms are above reproach. The Executive suites are a bit dated, but still always clean and more than adequate. Enjoy the experience at Glade Sprongs.

The indoor pool was being renovated which was a principle reason we chose the stay. The rooms are dated with poor water pressure in the shower. The added resort fee was presented when we left and not charged before. The free breakfast meets the standard Quality, comfort and residence level and nothing more. I will not be using the resort in the future. Recommend not using the resort. High priced with lower delivery.

The resort grounds are beautiful. We stayed in their Executive Suites area. The entire atea looks old. From the veranda to the inside room, it looks old with stained and worn carpets, shower stall tub very old. Air conditioning was only running in the front room. It all needs updating to be worth the money. We also did not appreciate a $31.13 suprise charge on checking out for a Resort service charge under incidentals. Which we did not use.

Needs updating in a serious way.
The executive suites part of this resort is extremely dated. Old fixtures that are falling apart, some mildew on the walls, drain and bathtub didn’t drain and very old uncomfortable furniture in the living room. The bed, however, was excellent. They are in the process of updating everything but it is definitely not “executive“ by any stretch of the imagination. The staff understands this and was very accommodating when we needed to change our room. The buffet complementary breakfast was good. I would not necessarily recommend eating dinner on the property. Better off eating in Beckley not too far away.
