Bring a Pillow

I called the hotel directly and was told there were no rooms available on the side I wanted that night. I immediatley went to hotels.com and saw rooms priced more than $100 less than the price I was given by the front desk. Booked through hotels.com and got the room on the side I wanted. Unfortunately this was the first time I'd used hotels.com and was asked for my credit card at the front desk who charged me again for the room. Turned out it was a new employee's mistake, but I didn't get any sleep after being told I'd have to take the double charge up with hotels.com. The manager was able to issue the hotel's refund the next morning. Great motel but the pillows are terrible.

A word of advice: never book a room when the hotel is undergoing a renovation! If a hotel could feel like a 3rd world country, this would be the one. Only one elevator in the entire building which warns you with a bi-lingual sign that 4 persons is too much of a load! There are signs when you get on that this might not be a good idea: no floors are designated and the operation panel was ready to fall off. The view from our room was that of the rooftop over the entrance with weeds growing out of the accumulated dirt and leaves over the years. No extra charge for that view. And the bathroom seemed to be up-to-date until you take a shower. The handle was loose and would adjust the water temperature without a wink. The water coming out of the sink faucet was so weak it was almost useless. Not sure if these complaints are on their renovation list, but they sure should be! Shame on Hilton to allow this under your brand.

The entire first floor entrance, reception desk, and food service seating area was under construction, or filled with materials. Most important was the risk of using the only elevator. Out of date inspection record listed capacity of use to 2,500 pounds. Warning signs were posted on entrance doors warning uses not to load over 400 pounds. I'm sure OSHA would shut down the use of this by both Employees and Guests. Especially given the loose control panel on the inside is an electrical hazard.

I did not know the property was going through renovations making the check in area the back office and the fitness center not useable. The went to use the elevator and the floor numbers did not display. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. The room served its purpose for me and my family to get some sleep before heading to my son’s golf tournament.

Elevator was broken had to carry heavy luggage by myself to 2nd floor there were construction work inside the hotel breakfast had to take in a hallway when i complain to reception they say they Hotel.com to let me know in advance but Hotel.com said they do NOT have my contact phone !!!

Friendly staff, facility getting an update which seems to be going well. Room was very clean and comfortable. My only issue was that on the Expedia site it listed the pet fee at $50 and when we arrived we were told the pet fee was $75.

Great Location and staff! Just wish I would have known they were remodeling before I booked the place. They did give me a freshly remodeled room which was nice. Full breakfast buffet even on Christmas Morning. Highly recommend
