Can’t beat the location. Right in town and on the foreshore. Beautiful place to visit. There were some lovely touches like free beverages in the room, and it had all of the amenities needed. Designer room was a stretch and it was in a very old and tired building. There isn’t anyone keeping an eye on things overnight so at midnight there was a very noisy party in the pool which my balcony backed onto, resulting in very little sleep. To be fair, the pool is locked overnight and these people were obviously doing the wrong thing. Parking was a little tricky with a large SUV and some other guests who struggled to park in the lines. Had a nice dinner at the attached bar/bistro. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Tried to call ahead 5pm,6pm,645pm to pay for room (expedia) not able to take payment and no answer for 3 calls. got through and told would have to speak to the night manager on arrival as reception was closing in 15 min night manager was very helpful and gave us a lower level room to assist access requirements Room was ok. shower rose had barnacles on it. basin was dirty not cleaned no were the coffee cups. Beds were good and walkable to other restaurants and tourist attractions / shops.

Photos were very misleading. The property itself is very run down. The shower head was rusty and built up with green and blue patches. The shower has a rusted mount that was sharp and could have caused injury. The bed looked fine at first but I am very sensitive to mites, dust and bed bugs. It caused me to have itchy irritated skin and could not sleep for the whole night. This was added on top that the walls are very thin, we could hear our neighbours from all sides.

**Overpriced and Outdated for NYE – Disappointing Experience** We stayed here on New Year’s Eve, paying over $450 for a Queen Executive Room, expecting a premium experience. Unfortunately, it fell far short. The customer experience started poorly as soon as we arrived. The outdated building, combined with a lack of modern conveniences like lifts, meant we had to carry our luggage up stairs—unacceptable for the exorbitant price charged. The room was shockingly outdated and small, with visible wear and tear, a tiny TV, and paper-thin walls that let every noise from neighbouring rooms seep through. Bright lights from outside streamed in, even with the blinds closed, making it difficult to sleep. Basic upgrades like blackout curtains, modern furnishings, and soundproofing are desperately needed. The bar was equally underwhelming. On what should be one of the busiest and most celebratory nights of the year, it lacked any atmosphere or effort to create a festive experience. It felt sterile and uninspired, more like a waiting area than a place to enjoy New Year’s Eve. At over $450 a night, this stay was extremely disappointing and not worth the cost. We cannot recommend this property and would not stay here again, let alone at this price.

Great location on the water and right in town. 2 bottles of water, 2 small cans of soft drink provided and biscuits to have with tea or coffee was a nice touch. Only criticism is that the grout in the bathroom needs some attention

Good location. Older property but the rooms have been refurbished. Listed as ocean view but you’re looking at harbour not ocean. Lots of stairs in the property

This is a updated property a short walk into the main street. The car parking is free and secure under the building over 2 levels. The Receptionist was helpful and the cleaners lovely. The room isn't big but had everything we needed. The room wasn't waterfront and was located above a courtyard area. Quite a lot of noise came up from below - voices seemed to really carry.

Lovely location

Lovely location with great view. It was quiet when we were there but don’t think we would like to be there when the hotel side is operating because our room was right next to the hotel bistro and a balcony leading from bar was very close to our room
