I checked in at 3:30pm. Then went to get some food for myself and my daughter. We got back to the hotel about 4:20. When we got into the room with our food we tried to turn on the tv to which it didn’t work. I called the front desk and they told me maintenance would be there shortly. I didn’t hear anything again for about 45 minutes so I messaged the front desk from my phone this time asking if they had an eta because I just wanted to have a shower and didn’t want to leave my daughter in the room alone with someone fixing the tv. Nobody answered. I called again to the front desk after it had been a little over an hour. The man I spoke with said he would see me shortly and apologized. I waited for another hour. I called the front desk again to which they didn’t answer the phone but messaged my cell phone instead saying they’re trying to fix it. But at this point I had asked for an eta twice and just had been told that someone was coming (first maintenance and second was the front desk guy.) I messaged them again telling them how I was beginning to be frustrated had they not told me someone was coming would have been better than false hope of someone coming to fix the tv. I waited another half an hour before someone finally came with a new tv. The entire sight was booked with some kind of sports tournament so it was extremely noisy with kids running around in the hallway. And when I came out of the room around 12:30 the halls were littered with garbage, candy, nuts and socks

Pros - The staff were pleasant and the pool was fun, beds were comfortable. Cons - The soundproofing was horrible. We had an adjoining room. The gap around the door was not sealed and we could hear our neighbours until 1am. You can tell they’ve done an upgrade but it was done poorly. Parts of the room were not clean and we found hair on the shelf. The bed and linens were clean. The breakfast tasted water down, from the juice down to the maple syrup for the waffles. I felt like they were trying to stretch food and beverages too far.

It's a decent proper. It would be nice if they could update the exterior to something a bit brighter. The TVs just use the broadcast channels and there is no option for streaming. They are also kind of small in comparison to the room size. I did feel safe, the staff was friendly and for the price of the hotel it was very reasonable. 4/5
