The property was amazing, the breakfast was brilliant the the staff were so friendly and nothing was ever too much. The only thing I would say to maybe have the pool heated as we went end of Feb and was too cold to use and would have preferred to use it. Other than that was an exceptional stay and particularly loved the huge bed :) x

Great spot on the Sea!

We had never been to Barcelona and this hotel was a perfect home away from home. Staff was welcoming, helpful, and warm. Room was great! Clean and comfortable. We will return.

Best Weekend away!

Me and my mate really enjoyed our stay here at Occidental! We were in Barcelona for the Half Marathon and this hotel was the perfect place to relax and rewind after our long days. We were offered complimentary champagne on arrival and check in was super smooth. The pool and spa facilities were fantastic, really adding that extra recovery and comfort to our stay. The buffet breakfast was so great with a variety of different food options. To finish off the room was very tidy/clean and the beds were very comfy indeed! Staff were super helpful, we will definitely return sometime soon.

Small rooms, got a room that lacked hot water and eater pressure. Despite complaints it it took them 3-days to get it fixed. However I got compensated with some fruit sallad and an handwritten apology

Amazing location; easy transportation, walkable to restaurants!! The property is overlooking Platja de la Mar Bella; one of the best beaches!! If you like to run , bike and exercise..even perfect!!! Woke up everyday to the sunset! Breakfast was everything you can think of including a chef to make you your own omelette!! I stayed right after Christmas to New Year; not sure if this is because of the holiday but breakfast was served with unlimited Cava( champagne)
