The room was extremely warm and had bugs (mosquitoes) I think that disrupted my sleep. They could not accommodate a room switch and left me to deal with killing them.

Great little boutique hotel
SB Icaria was a one night stay before our cruise. It was a much needed place of refuge while getting used to our time zone change! The service was warm and inviting, and the beds were among the best I’ve had. They even have a thoughtful “pillow menu” for you to choose where you dream and rest your head! Highly recommended hotel.

Great location. The hotel is not too close to the main tourist spots to be overcrowded but close enough for a quick taxi trip. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes by car from the marine terminal and 25 from the airport. The hotel is well maintained. However, there was a minor water/humidity problem in the bathroom. Water was dripping from the ceiling.

Good hotel in location within easy reach of the centre and the beach. Nice pool. Good breakfast. Staff helpful. Unfortunately had booked a twin room for friend and teenage son which turned out to be a double room as the request for two beds couldn’t be guaranteed, certainly not something I’d experienced in over 40 years of travelling. Unable to change the room as hotel fully booked. Staff apologetic, extra bed linen provided, but unable to fully resolve the issue

Unfortunately our room hadn’t been cleaned properly when we checked in and the safe wasn’t working, however the hotel was full so were unable to move until the following day. The second room was much better and also had a queen bed rather than two singles which was the requested option. The WiFi in the hotel was awful throughout our stay, and although the hotel is v near the beach and its restaurants, it is quite a distance to the main city. Taxis and buses available just outside which is handy though!
