Nice and clean hotel with comfortable bedding. Staff was excellent as well. Only problem is that I was on the ground level and my window was right on the sidewalk level. So as people walked by at night, you could hear everything. The larger issue was that every shower that ran and every toilet flushed in the rooms above appeared to flow through my room which was fairly consistent throughout the night. The water lines ran right above my room so it did get noisy.

Good: Amenities were good. Kettle, tea, coffee in the room. Bad: found a used tissue in the corner. Tea and coffee were not topped up each day. Window faced hotel entry way lights that never turn off. Could not leave the blinds open at all for any natural light. Needed to have the blackout curtains at all times. No privacy and not quality sleeping conditions.

Well located, about 17 minutes to Park Güell and 4 minutes to Lesseps metro station. We appreciated having breakfast/dining options on site. There are a few cafe/food options within walking distance. It's away from the touristy part which we appreciated. The rooms were clean and met our needs. The staff is pleasant and helpful, especially the young gentleman during the evening shift who was very quick to respond to our questions and requests. Overall, a good stay.

Quaint Hotel

It is a nice little hotel. The city taxes here were the most expensive of the 3 hotels we stayed at in Spain. I love the terrace. It was very nice. Properly is very close to public transportation, restaurants and places of interest.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is good and close to many restaurants and sights. Very walkable. The hotel it’self was fine, nothing special, nice staff . Unfortunately the room was very hot, had no circulation of air all. We opened the ac (but it was not switched on and it let out hot air) it was about 68° outside but much hotter inside, and our window overlooked an internal corridor, so it brought in no air. I really wish the hotel alerted us when checking in that the ac was off and broken . We wouldn’t have turned it on thinking it worked! It made the room even hotter, like an oven. They gave us a fan, but it didn’t help. I could barely sleep for the 2 nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it was fine, nothing terriblle, the rooms were clean, but it didn’t feel like a 4 star property or experience for me. We chose not to stay for the remainder of our days in Barcelona.

Hotel Ronda Lesseps and its staff really made my first ever trip to Barcelona feel like a vacation. The location is very safe and walkable (if hilly) area with some basic dining options 2-3 minutes away, subway stop 7 minutes away (Caffe Milano!) and the livelier part of Gracia (Gran de Gracia!) 15-20 minutes away. The hotel itself is very modern and well-maintained. My room was in great condition with a sleek, modern bathroom, and got cleaned thoroughly every day. My only complaint was that the one window looked out into a small courtyard so I got no natural light whatsoever. I had to put on all the lights at any hour of the day. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful from my check-in to my departure, helping me mail postcards, arranging a cab, and even loaning me a compact umbrella for an excursion on a rare rainy day (it saved me). I also really liked the numeric punch-in code for the room; no need to worry about losing or forgetting your key. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful quiet 3 night stay, I am very happy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Only two small points that I would have liked to improve during my stay: 1. The hairdryer in the room was very weak and shut down three times while I was drying my hair. 2.Hair conditioner is not provided with the shampoo. But that shouldn't overshadow the good impression the hotel left on me. Overall, that shouldn't overshadow the good impression the hotel left on me. I leave those points here, because there's still room for improvement :)
