The staff were so helpful, so nice. The location was totally amazing right in front of the arc de triomf and close to many popular places. The hotel itself was beautiful and I loved that theyre all about recycling and saving energy and water. The rooftop was also amazing , excellent views.

Hotel Rec was perfect for our 4 night stay in Barcelona. It is only a few moments from Arc de Triomf (monument and Metro line) and handy for the V19 bus up to Parc Guell or the beach in the other direction. The rooms were clean, modern and had everything you need. We asked for some more milk and coffee and it soon arrived. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Shout out to Oliver and Alex, who were particularly helpful. The lounge upstairs was really nice with outdoor seating, which we used a couple of times (it was only March). There was a good choice of food for breakfast. The hotel has numerous excellent restaurants near by. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the city.

Modern clean hotel right in the middle of Barcelona a stone's throw from Las Ramblas. Room was well appointed with excellent en suite and tea making facilities. Just what we wanted. We would definitely stay here again.

Fab location for sightseeing- metro 2 min walk but also lots to see right on the doorstep. 30 min walk to wonderful beach area. Rooms compact & bathroom is part of the room so need to be comfortable with who you’re sharing with. Roof top terrace with tiny pool is lovely for relaxing with a drink & looking out over the rooftops. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place to return to next time in Barcelona
