The Seasiders Motel was significantly cheaper than other motels/hotels in the area and I was surprised by how kind and helping the staff were and the cleanliness of the room. I would recommend staying here to anyone who wants an affordable vacation in Bar Harbor.

This place was very nice and cute the only negative is that it’s a bit noisy if you stay on the main floor and also lots of traffic as it’s located at the corner of a busy stop but honestly would come here again regardless staff was nice location was clean

Much too expensive for what they offer, bad value. A lot of noise from the road. Minuscule bathroom. Far from downtown, not really walkable. Only two small tables in the breakfast area, and barebone breakfast.

Loved the entire area and the people. Not sure if this is a thing in the other rooms, but ours did not have a bathroom door that would even shut. Both the outside and front patio doors need better locks. Neither had working bolts. Morning breakfast area was easy access to food and well stocked. Staff members were all very pleasant! Comfortable beds and pillows.

Was a bit noisy in the morning, with people waiting for the bus (had a front facing room in the center of the building). Put the bathroom fan on for some white noise and that solved that issue. The WIFI was pretty poor, which is important because my Verizon connection was spotty on the island. For a motel, on a pricey island, this place was a good value.

I would stay again. The property is in a nice location that is close enough to walk to town easy but doesn’t have all the congestion. Staff was super nice. I like that I had two dogs with us and it was easy to walk them in the area without congestion. It was so close to the entrance to Acadia park that we were able to make morning and night visits. So convenient. The items that could be improved is a little updating, which to be fair looks like they are doing. I would stay again.

It was very convenient to town which was great. However, no fault of the motel, the power went out, so it got really hot overnight and we had no showers in the morning. The room was adequate.

Bar Harbor is a zoo a this time of year. I've been so busy at work, I decided to splurge, despite the high season rates, four hundred twenty five bucks, a night, gulp. My room smelled dank and forgotten. The bathroom sink immediately backed up with foul smelling water, and the carpet was damp. Exhausted from a long trip, I crawled into bed anyway. In the morning, a very responsive and helpful manager named Tim got me a room in the renovated part of the motel. It is clean and bright. I would definitely return, I'm here pretty often, but I feel like I've been taken advantage of. Why rent out rooms in the very marginal wing of the motel at all, nevermind for the princely sum of $425? Honestly, I'd like to be refunded for my first night's stay.

Perfect location and amenities!
There was a big storm on the island and power was knocked out overnight. The staff worked quickly with the power company to get the power restored the next morning. Very comfortable beds! Snack bar in the lobby is well-stocked with great snacks: KIND bars and fancy fruit bars, and more. Plus juices and water bottles! Continental breakfast has lots of choices of danishes and muffins! And several different kinds of coffees plus decaf! Location perfect for walking into town and also riding bikes into the park! Really didn't need to drive much! Planning to return for a longer stay for sure!!
