Nice Hotel let down by a few minor details

Ramada by Wyndham Sukhumvit 11 is a well located hotel on Soi 11, close to a good number of bars and restaurants and an easy walk to Nana BTS station. Considering its location, the hotel is extremely quiet as it is on a side alley, just off Soi 11 so away from the hustle and bustle of Sukhumvit Rd but close to walk there to take in the atmosphere. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful and the rooms were spacious, clean and tidy (if a little tired). My only slight niggle was that the hospitality staff (restaurant & bar) were not overly helpful. When we came down for breakfast on our first morning, we were never made aware that we could order eggs to our liking and it wasn’t until we were leaving that we saw someone do this. Later that afternoon we went to the Pool Bar for Happy Hour drinks (as advertised) but couldn’t find anybody to serve us at the bar, even after waiting 10 minutes) so we decided to go elsewhere. Apart from that, we had an enjoyable stay.

Hotel reception staff all super helpful and kind from the manager to the bell boy heart felt kind will help your what ever your needs are. The only down side is the hotel needs a major revamp bed bugs and dirty smell rooms and carpets I almost threw up cannot explain the smell , they have to do a deep clean up , work on it management please thanks super hotel in the heart of soi 11

Hotel is fine minor complaint was my fridge was useless and couldn't be fixed. I carry insulin injections and ice bags so had to put them in hotel fridge but staff helped. 1 big complaint was the "taxi" organised by hotel for me and wife and large luggage to get to airport. The so called taxi had NO exhaust and the noise was unbearable on way to airport with manic driver. Otherwise a very good hotel in great location.

Booked for 2 nights, traveling with my mother who walks with a cane. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in and were able to leave our luggage. Despite the lobby being very busy, when we returned we were informed that we had been upgraded due to the need for elevator access. The staff was fantastic, the room was very clean and comfortable and the common areas very welcoming. Good options for breakfast, some great dining options right down the lane, easy access (3min walk) to Nana station (BTS). Terminal 21 shopping 10 minute walk away. Will definitely return next time in BKK.
