Located very close to all the shops and restaurants in Banff. Older hotel that has had some updates. We paid for parking and ended up having to park outside because the parking lot was too full and many of the spots are extremely tight.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Banff! The location couldn’t be better — just steps away from the heart of downtown, where you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and easy access to public transportation. It made exploring the area super convenient. The hotel itself has some great on-site amenities, including a cozy coffee shop and a fantastic restaurant, which was perfect for grabbing a bite without having to venture far. The rooms were comfortable and clean — pretty much what you'd expect from a solid Hilton or Marriott-type experience — but the bed was exceptionally comfortable, which made for some great nights of sleep after long days out adventuring. One of the highlights for us was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They always greeted us with a smile and often asked about our day, which added a really nice personal touch to our stay. The rates were also quite reasonable, especially considering the prime location and amenities. My only small critique is the housekeeping policy — you have to remember to hang a sign on your door if you’d like your room cleaned. When you’re rushing out to start your day, it’s easy to forget. But honestly, that’s a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. All in all, this is a fantastic place to stay in Banff, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again for our next trip!

Amazing service

The staff at the front desk was absolutely incredible. I stayed there for 4 nights on business with a group of co-workers. When I arrived, I noticed some kind of error was made in my personnal booking (probably on my end) and I ended up with a 2-story suite way too big and for my needs and budget. The hotel was solidly booked, no changes were possible. The staff took the time to explain the situation to the manager and they ended up reducing the price by a lot. They absolutely weren't obligated to do that, I was stuck and needed the room. I was amazed by the humanity and helpfullness shown by the 2 young girls at the front desk.

The proximity to shopping was excellent. You can walk to most places in minutes and the transit stop is right across the street. There is also a grocery store across the street which is convenient. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend.
