Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Rooms are a decent size, could use a bit more cleaning carpet vacuumed better, shower and tub to be cleaned better
Stayed 4 nights for a work trip. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bus passes were also a great bonus, and were well utilized. Room was clean and well prepared. There was a bottle of wine with a personalized card in the room when I arrived. I don't drink wine, but I appreciated the gesture as it was unexpected. Pillows were too firm for my preference, but the bed was otherwise very comfortable. The room showed aging signs, but it was still clean and inviting. I would definitely stay here again!
It was an ok hotel. A little run down but that's ok because the price was relatively competitive. The issue I have is that not all Rundlestone's front desk people shower/put on clean clothes. I had to stand about 5 ft from the guy when paying due to the smell. If your front desk people aren't clean, what else isn't?
My lover and myself really enjoyed our stay visiting Banff at this property, we drove from Calgary and wanted to spend the weekend with one another and do some sight seeing and shopping, would absolutely recommend this spot to other couples!
The hotel was not interested in having a couple hockey teams stay with them other than taking our money. No resturant and no place to gather to hang out. Security guards actually went door to door putting their ears on the doors looking to find kids that were quietly hanging out together. No fans in the bathrooms, had to ask for conditioner to be filled and asked for toilet paper refills. And when we asked for our room to be freshened up all they did is replace towels, but left the floor messy. Pool was under construction and didn’t find out until we got there.
Front desk was amazing. Rooms were a little outdated and run down. The tile above the front door looks like it was about to cave in. But otherwise the room was very clean and comfortable.
You get what you pay for. Staff was average and addressed any issues we had during our stay. Parking was easy and great. Pool was u fortunately out of service but the hot tub was very nice. For the price this is a great place to stay.
