The Buffalo Mountain Lodge is our favourite hotel in Banff. The fireplace, the location, the spa and the Prow restaurant is worth every penny. Tunnel mountain is minutes to downtown and we have learned that the serenity away from downtown has its charm when in reality you are only 5 minutes away. Stay here!

Some of furniture needs refurbishing but the bathtub is great. Being out of town is quiet and restful and views are amazing. The wood burning fireplace makes it perfect.
