Great stay in the heart of Banff! We enjoyed our time at this lodge. The location couldn’t be better – right in the centre of Banff town, just steps away from shops, restaurants, and walking/hiking trails around town. Super convenient! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, which we appreciated. Breakfast was simple but did the job – nothing fancy, but enough to start the day. One thing to note: our room didn’t have air conditioning. Since we stayed in May, it wasn’t a big deal. We had a few warm days, but managed with a fan and open windows. That said, it might get uncomfortable during the peak summer heat. We hadn’t planned on doing laundry, but after some messy hikes, it became necessary. If you think you might need to do the same, bring your own detergent and consider hand washing. The washer and dryer were $4 CAD each per load, and detergent was another $1.50 CAD per load. Tip: Book early – Banff accommodations are pricey and fill up fast! Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The clean rooms, great staff, and unbeatable location made it a great choice.

Our overall stay was wonderful—pretty clean and comfortable accommodations made it enjoyable. I think the price were very reasonable as well. Very nice staff. However, our room faced the back side, where we could hear noise from the dumpster and facing to the back of the kitchen of the neighboring building, which affected the ambiance. The view wasn’t particularly scenic either.

Great stay right in the middle of Banff

The location was excellent and we had great views from the balcony of our room. It is right in the middle of Banff so everything was close. The only caveat is the parking is below the hotel and you would be advised to not have a very big car. We had a full size SUV and I’m still amazed I got it into and out of the garage! But we’d definitely stay there again.

Great location and service!

Amazing location and best customer service. I had boxes shipped to me for a conference and they texted me about the arrival and delivered them to my room without me asking. At bigger chain hotels, they didn’t even do that for me, I’ve always had to bring them up myself. Night time staff was amazing as I arrived after hours and he came out to great and help me ended the secured parking.

I liked your morning breakfast that were free of charge. We did take advantage of walking around town because your hotel was so convenient. Your hotel was extremely clean, and your touch of lemon water or cucumber. Water was awesome. I really liked your little areas that we could go privately if we would like to read Your books. Extremely classy.

The front desk staff were exceptional! Super friendly and so very helpful with information on the area. The room was very clean and well kept. The location was PERFECT. Great for walking around town. Our only issue was with the breakfast staff. We arrived 3 minutes early and the lady erupted at us, forced us to leave and locked the door. So we just went someplace else for coffee and a bite.

This hotel was in a prime location, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff was excellent. The free breakfast was a bonus as it saved us some money. We missed out on the fire pit they had because we only knew about it as we were checking out. They have a games room with an x-box, a gym, and a dry sauna. Worth the stay just for the staff, location, and the comfy beds.
