Unfortunately , the room was far from clean. The toilet had with visible stains that were both unpleasant and concerning , besides that, there were hairs on the sheets. The sink still had leftover debris, and the sofa was stained and sofa bed had chips in the frame, making it uncomfortable and unappealing. While the fireplace was a nice touch, the overall lack of cleanliness was a huge letdown and made my stay unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel

The property itself is nice , the buildings are older with some TLC needed. They advertise wifi available but we were unable to stream our tv shows properly due to how slow the internet was. If you’re looking for a place with a rustic flare and barely any internet this is the place for you.

I’m not too picky when it comes to hotels. Thought I would pay the $200 /night to splurge for our anniversary. We had a suite with a kitchen. #1904. The unit was extremely small. Which is fine if it were clean.. a few things to note: All the kitchen cupboards were literally sticky trying to open them, the drawers were dirty on the inside and torn up. The ceiling between the kitchen and living room had exposed drywall tape and looked like water damage. The insides of the interior doors were dirty, the baseboards were dirty and damaged. The curtain in the bedroom has some kind of blood smear on them, and the place in general smelt of mildew. The pullout couch was rickety and uncomfortable. Front staff were friendly. Don’t spend the money.

This is our “go to” place in Banff. We’ve been coming here for 30 years and have never been disappointed. The staff here are amazing, and are always aiming to please. Perfect little kitchenette units with all you need. It’s perfectly situated out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Banff too, which we love. Thanks for another great stay!
