While the staff was nice and the place was conveniently located, the facility was dated; 1970s theme, floral carpets, narrow and dark hallways, poor lighting in the rooms, and ridiculously expensive. $500 /night.

This is a charming, smaller hotel located right on the main drag in Banff. Many restaurants within a 2 block walk which was very convenient. Also, restaurant and small bar on site which we enjoyed. Hotel was clean and nicely kept. Front desk staff was very helpful and even made reservations for us for the Icefields tour and the Gondola. They have bear spray to loan to guests. Also, free public bus tickets are available. Appreciated the underground parking as their is no street parking close by.
