Tv is complicated and unreliable. Heater is placed incorrectly, inefficient, outdated, and noisy. Whole place needs updating.

Doors needing repair, general upgrades would bring this property up a notch. The room was clean and bed comfortable enough, but the heater/cooling unit noisy. The door to our room had a 3/4 inch gap at the bottom, not sitting squarely in the door frame. We put a towel across the gap to keep the light and drafts out.

The bed was soft on the sides, hard in the middle. The 4 pillows were paper thin, had to purchase one myself. There was no hot water no matter which way you moved the tap. Had to reset the tv satellite at least 3 times. The breakfast was a cold breakfast, the restaurant that used to be there was removed. The pool was over chlorinated, hot tub not working, the gym has broken equipment. The person that works the reception desk during the day was very nice but the owners are not. Will not stay there again.

Check in was friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had what appeared to be mold along the grout and in corners. The storm door would be nice to have in the summer but it rattled and banged and looked like something that had been reused from a 1950s home. The furnishings were very dated. The heating unit fan turned on and off constantly. It was a very cold night so I was in no position to turn it off. The room rates were fairly exorbitant considering the small town location and amenities. Serious consideration must be given to improving this motel.
