The hotel is old and beautifully maintained, our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable, the service from the bar very freindly as was all the staff we spoke too

I’ve stayed here regularly for around 6 months now but this time I had a bad night sleep, the radiator was constantly hot (which was a struggle in the heat) and the sink had sick in it which the cleaners must of forgotten to clean when doing house cleaning. But other times I’ve never had a problem but the staff are very helpful and they did move me into a more convenient room the next day .lovely area to stay tho and free parking you can’t go wrong .

This is a lovely building in the centre of Banbury, the rooms are in desperate need of modernisation and because of this don't feel clean. The restaurant was under staffed - one person working in the evening. Staff need customer service training - the waiter called me "mate" several times.

Lovely character hotel in great location.

A lovely hotel full of character. Our room was clean, had a new bathroom and overlooked the beautiful garden too which was a bonus. Breakfast was a perfect spread of cooked food and continental. Staff were all very friendly. Location is perfect, right in the town centre and an added bonus of free parking! Loved my stay.

I have stayed at Whately Hall many times over the past 17 years, mostly through work. The hotel has shown its age over the years, but the refurb has started. My bedroom was ideal. The newly refurbed bathroom looked fantastic. All the staff were very accommodating, professional and polite… a credit to the owners. I would certainly revisit…
