This is a nice and historic hotel. Stay was great. Only comment is that food service at the Bistro and Lounge was really slow. Ghost tour was great fun.

During the initial reservation of the room I reserved a city view and that was not honor. Also upon entering the room there was no remote control. Lastly during valet check out I waited for over hour and half for them to locate my keys which I was told wasn’t in the assign area with the other guest keys. I was told that i would be refunded for the valet parking due to long wait but to date that has not happened.

The hotel itself had character, it is situated in the heart of downtown Baltimore so the night life was amazing. The room was promised to be one with city views but that room per se had a key card issue so we were downgraded to one with view of the adjoining apartment complex.

I would not stay in this hotel again if it was free. I am not high maintenance by any means and don't expect a lot but when the hotel tells you at check-in that you need to check out by 11:00 a.m. but you can't have your vehicle from the parking garage until 1:00 p.m. because there's an event going on that they have known about for months and failed to tell me until I checked in even though I booked 10 days in advance is unacceptable

To start, this hotel has ghosts and is known to be one of the most haunted hotels in the country. Folks should know this before booking. I did not, and didn't realize it until I was woken up in the middle of the night by what I thought was knocking on my door and no one there (twice). I ended up having a pretty sleepless night after the second knock. If you're traveling solo and this scares you, or you need a guaranteed night of uninterrupted sleep, I would consider booking elsewhere. That said, my room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a short walk to the convention center and Inner Harbor.

When you look at the pictures online and walk into the hotel, you would not think you were in the same place. The hotel is severely outdated and has a Oder. The food was overpriced for the small portions you received. The microwave in the room did not work. I asked someone at the front desk to replace the microwave and provide turn down service and neither one was done.
