I was not told about how to pay for parking in advance with the QR code when checking in so I had to pay the full LAZ parking price instead of the hotel guest rate. A difference of $80 vs $35 for 25 hours of parking. This should be made much more clear than a QR code and should be verbalized.

Spent 4 days here while attending a conference at the convention center. From check in to check out, the experience was absolutely terrible. Check-in took nearly 45 minutes because the employee working the desk could not get her computer working. Meanwhile, 4 other people were checked in by somebody else just fine. The card reader kept “declining” my incidentals charges even though I had record from my bank showing that BOTH $200 charges were processed. Two managers were “investigating” the issue and eventually let us check in after I refused to let them charge my card a third time for another $200. Was given room 508, probably as punishment. If you are given room 508 IMMEDIATELY REQUEST ANOTHER ROOM. Paid extra for “harbor views” but all I got that low to the ground was a view of the roof of the shady mall across the street and a very loud street that will keep you up all night. Events on the second floor can be heard in the room and there are no quiet hours so that was great to be kept up until 11pm when I had a 6am flight the next morning. Room had cockroaches in shower. Towels provided had blue goop on them. No body wash provided. Telephone did not connect to any dialed numbers. Coffee maker not gave cold water. And on site dining was wildly expensive. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

This was a beautiful hotel. Parking was very convenient, the staff was very professional and friendly, the hotel restaurant was superb, and it's wonderful that it is connected to the Convention Center. Lastly, the lobby area is beautiful and has the best refreshing water flavored with fruit. Overall a wonderful hotel! We highly recommend.
