One note for anybody looking at older reviews is that this property is no longer a men’s homeless shelter. The recent renovation is excellent and the staff are very friendly. It is convenient if you want to go to the Horeshoe casino but there isn’t much else around. The breakfast isn’t bad for this price point and there is free coffee in the lobby. My major criticism is that there is a lot of street noise - at least on the side of the hotel I was staying in.

Marlo was absolutely fantastic. So friendly and welcoming. Would have given 5 stars but the breakfast was horrible. The sausage and bacon was hardly cooked. Pancake machine didn’t work. And no regular creamer for coffee. The area was very clean and the girl was nice. But the food was nasty.

The staff was very welcoming and transparent. Someone would clean the room every morning; however, I think 8:30 AM is a bit early. Besides that, I was very satisfied with the service.
