Ive stayed at the Columbia location for the past few months and my stay has been consistently pleasing. Starting from the modern decor, pleasant staff and scrumptiously warm cookies upon arrival is the sweetest treat. The hotel overall be itself pretty good. The problem is they have a huge event going on, with loud music, vendors and buffet with private bartender. I was tired after doing work for some family in this area. Then I walk in to basically a frat party. Why wouldnt you notify people of this type of event. Mass email to all guests? I had zero clue this huge party was going to be happening, couldn't even swim too crowded. I would not have stayed there with all this, not to mention all the parking was full and I had to walk all the way from the back of the property with luggage to the front, in the dark.
