Ikea of Hotels - with Great Staff

I would say Aloft is the Ikea of hotels. Things were very minimalist, decent. The biggest plus was the staff…not bad as fas as amenities, however, I would not want to stay here with folks I was not completely comfortable with as you can hear “every splash” or sound. Lol. Also-the mirror on the wall as you go into the water closet/shower doubles as a door-so helpful once you know. Made for a funny story though so we can walk away with that.

Because my flight arrival time was 11:50 I called the hotel to see if I could check in after their web site said that registration closed at midnight. She said I could and put us on a late check in. She also said that the last the shuttle was at 10 PM. Took a taxi to hotel. Upon arrival we were surprised that both check in and shuttle were available 24-7. The shuttle driver I think his name was Fran Cisco was very courteous and helpful.

Great staff - room bare bones.

Francisco, the shuttle driver, was fantastic, definitely 5 stars. We returned our rental car and he picked us up at that facility the night before. This made our early morning flight very easy. Joe, the evening maintenance person, was also fantastic. Helped us with additional desk lighting as our desk light had a switch issue. Front desk staff wonderful and assisted with our Bonvoy membership. The room is bare bones, Lighting could be better in the bedroom area. Seating also - need more than one seat for guests. This was a great location and good for the night before flights back home. But no real storage and minimal accessories make it a one night preference. Location and staff fabulous. Reminds me of hotels in Europe.
