Very friendly host and was a quaint B&B experience. Dined at the Richmond Arms for dinner which was great steak and ale pie and then breakfast at Argyle was great as well.

Lovely stay and Homemade bread for breakfast!
Loved Tomintoul. Such a nice place to stay. We were delayed on our flight and were running late, but Diane was super acomodating. Probably our best stay of the 7 day trip. We loved exploring the town and wish we had more time there. Homemade bread was delicious in the morning!

Service and facilities brilliant. Lovely place to visit with good walks and facilities within a short distance. There was a bit of noise on our last morning pretty early from other guests but nothing preventable by the property.

Stargazing Stay
Diane was an absolutely fantastic host. My partner and I were in Tomintoul stargazing for an evening and loved staying here. The room was in excellent condition and was a good size for the pair of us and our dog to stay in. Diane was very knowledgeable about the local area and gave great recommendations on where to go. In the morning we had a lovely home cooked breakfast, they were very considerate of our dietary restrictions and cooked us fantastic vegan and vegetarian breakfasts. Thanks Steve! Overall 10/10.

Very nice place to stay. Dianne is a super host. We had just done the NC500 and wanted to visit Balmoral Castle on our way home to Nottingham. Was ideal location to stay. The room was lovely and the breakfast was great. Good value for money.

A little piece of heaven
Argyle guest House is situated in a small friendly village right on the doorstep of the beautiful Cairngorms. Steve & Diane are fabulous hosts, with plenty of local knowledge and information. Our room was absolutely amazing. Comfy king size bed, seating area & large en-suite bathroom, with shower over bath. The room had everything we needed with some added little touches like Bubble-bath, Hand Lotion, & some lovely scented hand soap. The village has a local pub with friendly staff and great food. There is also a village shop with all your essentials and more. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. 10/10.
