Bakersfield Hampton Inn review

Our stay at this Hampton Inn was good. The room was spacious and comfortable. We got a room away the traffic, but didn’t know about the trains passing close by. Of course each train had to blow its horn four times.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The sheets were dingy. The breakfast was less to be desired. I ate there the first morning after check in but I passed on the 2nd day. The fitness room smelled like animals had been in there. It made me nauseous!! There was a leaf blower going at 03:55am on a Friday morning .Totally unexpectible!!!

They said I would be refunded. I got to the hotel that I had prepaid for and they me their system is down and they won’t be able to get me in a room. At this time it’s 10:30 almost 11 and they said it will be about 3-4 hrs before they can get me in a room. I had to drive 3 hrs home after having a few drinks and they still have not refunded my room I paid for.
