Room was relatively clean, but the nonslip mat in the shower was absolutely disgusting and discolored around the edges. This should be replaced. Also, the wall a/c unit was so very loud all night long, but it was too stuffy without it and the room smelled musty. Front desk staff gets the job done but is not very friendly or welcoming. We arrived at 11 pm and all of the gates were locked and I was given no information about entering even though I let the hotel know I would be checking in late via an Expedia message which they did not respond to. I had to call after circling the area repeatedly after several hours on the road. They were accommodating of our late checkout request, but only by one hour, and they did let us leave our car in the lot for a few hours following checkout.

This hotel is NOT Best Western quality and certainly not Best Westen Plus. It is surrounded by a fence with a gate that locks at 9pm( opensp with hotel key after 9pm) Room itself was somewhat refurbished, bed comfortable tub repainted poorly to hide damage, woodwork a mess. Could not get ac on wall or unit mounted under window to work… Period!! and Found a slow moving cockroach on carpet near bed first thing this morning. When I reported this info to front desk.. I was told no one else in that room# 130 had any problems with units before, why didn’t I call front desk for help? My Answer… it was 10:30 and we were ready for bed ! They offered us one free breakfast. I replied..” no thank you… we are not eating here after observing only 2 people in the dining room and the afore mentioned cockroach. By the way the breakfast here are not included as they are in most all BW hotels . They charge $10.00 pp I They offered to refund our bill $20 and did. As we were leaving a homeless man was going thro trash can by the door of our building picking out cigarette butts. Guess they must have opened the gates, but no worries, the very kind cleaning lady came out of building and tried to chase him away. Twenty dollars, are you kidding me ?? I assure you, I am not exaggerating in any way shape or form . FYI we are members of your Best Western points program. Redpectfully, Laurence and Kristin Adams

For the price of the Stay, was our stay was good but with no amenities, such as continental breakfast, coffee was not fresh in the morning, Breakfast was offered at $10.00 perperson at connecting cafe which in fact was good for offering Organic choices for breakfast.

The only thing I didn't like was the dog urine smell upon entering the building. And someone left a dog in room barking. Staff was super nice and extremely helpful. She deserves a raise. She was so kind!

Concert Weekend

Came into town for a concert. Have stayed here a handful of times. I like that we can always check in early and no extea fee. Rooms are always clean and staff friendly. But this time we were put in a handicapped room. We told them we did not request that, when we checked in. Everything was low, the beds, the sink, and the shower was roll in. Just not the same as a regular room. Will stay here again but just will not accept a handicapped room. Location of the hotel is very convenient.

Very disappointing stay, definitely not typical Best Western quality. Overall, the hotel was a bit run down, needs a refresh and a good clean. My room was somewhat dirty, floor sticky and shower did not seem clean. I was hoping to take a swim, but the pool is ice cold and gross, kinda green. They have an over priced system set up in the lobby for water and snacks, $6 for a water bottle in this dump. Definitely avoid and pay a couple bucks extra for another hotel in the area!
