The staff were welcoming and friendly. The grounds were beautiful. The rooms were very dated, rust showing in bathroom. Screen door to our room was out of plumb so wouldn’t shut.

Beautiful water views! Our particular unit had broken screen & door off kilter effectively rendering the screen door unusable. Also the A/C was very noisy. The room was generally a bit dreary, musty and rundown ,although clean. Breakfast, although basic, was included in the price, which was appreciated. Staff was friendly.

Room was dingy, kind of yellowed. Outlets did not work unless the lights were turned on. The staff was friendly enough but we couldn’t fathom staying more than one night due to the conditions of the room.

The bed was fairly comfortable, but the overall condition of the room was a bit worn and could use some love. The toilet was a very small, low to the ground model, which is difficult for those of us with long legs/bad knees. The bathtub was showing it's age with chips and outdated surround, but the water pressure was ok in the shower. The water was scalding hot (be careful) and the air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a truck being parked in the room. Our screen door didn't close properly, so there was a large gap. Rooms are not sound proofed, so noise travelled through walls and the ceiling. There was tv, wifi, coffee machine and basic amenities provided. The complimentary breakfast was adequate, with hot and cold choices. We booked this place because it was the cheapest, so expectations were low to begin. The staff/ownership were eager to please and refilled our coffee supplies upon request, quickly and graciously. This is a good place, close to Baddeck eateries and activities, for a pit stop at a decent price.

Property was good. Parking was easy as with any Motel style lodging. Breakfast was simple, but good. Coffee, not so much. Rooms and beds were nice and comfortable and quiet. This place was not far from restaurants.

An older place, but clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. The furniture was too large for the room. TV in hutch could only be viewed by one person. Stay away from the sausage on the breakfast.
