Lovely hotel in nice area.
Nice place, nice hotel. Service was good. Room was very comfortable and clean. The pool was very good. We enjoyed using it. The room was very hot - the temperature outside was over 30’c, it would have been brilliant if it had air con! I searched for hotels with a pool & air con on hotels.com , somehow this hotel came up and I didn’t realise it didn’t have air con - so my fault! However I would still recommend this hotel as it is very good and in a lovey location.

Avoid this hotel, book another!
I would avoid this hotel like the plague. It was the worst hotel that we stayed out of 7 and our experience left a bad taste in our mouths. I paid for the hotel up front via the website and when we arrived at the hotel early evening there was no parking. I was instructed to parking 150 meters in a local town car park not in view of the hotel. Because of this we had to empty all our possessions from the car for security. I then had to pay for my son to have a bed even though I booked for 2 adults and 1 child. That was on the reservation. I had to pay a further 20 Euros for my son to have his bed, which was a sofa bed pull out bed with a sheet on. The attitude from the staff was very poor and the owner refused to give me a refund on the telephone. The beds where not comfortable. My son had broken sleep for the poor quality bed. My wife's bed caved in due to the cheap plastic struts, she had to sleep on the other end of the bed and I woke up with a very sore back. There is no tea and coffee making facilities. The only positive this for us was the very nicely done bathroom and over head shower. The breakfast was done to a good standard and the staff at breakfast where very attentive. The hotel is in the town centre if you need access to the shops. I would not stay hear again personally even if you paid me.

Schönes Hotel in der Fußgängerzone, allerdings insgesamt etwas schwierig zu finden trotz Hinweisen in der Hotelbeschreibung. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet im Preis inbegriffen. Meinem Wunsch nach einem allergikergeeigneten Zimmer wurde entsprochen, allerdings wurde ich bei Check-in gefragt, ob ich wirklich allergikergeeignete Bettwaren benötige, andernfalls könnten sie mir ein schöneres Zimmer anbieten. Hier verstehe ich nicht, was Bettwaren mit dem Zimmer zu tun haben, diese wären austauschbar. Aber am Zimmer gab es trotzdem nichts auszusetzen.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Scherf war zu einer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Es ist ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel mitten in Bad Lippspringe. Die Mitarbeiter sind äußerst zuvorkommend und bieten einen tollen Service! Ich komme ich gerne wieder.
