Love Catalina...disappointed in the room.

The room was very small and the bed was to small for two people. I asked if we could get a room with a bigger bed and they were unable to upgrade us. The front desk associate was unfriendly. I will likely stay at a different property next time.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I didn't like that there was no bathtub, only a shower. Also no hot tub or pool. Very limited hotel. Just a small room big enough to sleep and take a shower. They advertised a balcony, but that was 1 balcony for the whole hotel to share.

Hotel is very beautiful and very close to the waterfront in Avalon. Rooms were very comfortable. This particular room had a patio which was nice to get fresh air. Logistically located to all the attractions and dining experiences.

Hotel is around everything! I spoke to many staff and they were all so cool and talkative. I left my luggage there before check in and after check out and it was safe. One down side is no elevators and i was on the 4th floor but nothing i couldn't handle!

Checking in was a quick process. Rooms were clean. Very convenient location. Even with taking luggage from the ferry and walking to the hotel was still very easy and not a hassle at all. Felt very safe and comfortable. We didn’t hear a lot of noise coming from the hallway or other rooms which was nice.

It was great stay here , staff if super kind and helpful. They also allow you to leave your luggage with them before your check in time so you can explore without carrying your luggage around in the meantime . Overall it was an amazing stay and would recommend staying here .

Honestly, all areas rated as a 4 could be 4 1/2. We were so pleasantly surprised by this hotel, and the value was very, very good. It was close to everything and just perfect for our needs. You have to know this is an older property, but everything is so well kept. We will be booking here again when we come to Catalina Island. It was just a lovely, lovely stay.

Weather was amazing people were nice but the room had underwear and chocolate sauce under the bed from the previous guests. Our room was right by the stairs so you can hear everyone coming and going no matter what time.

Nice location. No big sign or lobby, so it’s a little hard to find. Room was lovely, especially the fireplace. They were not interested in giving us a later check out, so don’t plan on that! The hotel was barely occupied and we checked out on a Tuesday. I couldn’t even pay for one and the guy was not sympathetic. We had the ground floor room (which I usually hate) but it was very quiet.
