This place was amazing. Very Austin! The rooms were simple, but stylish. The lobby, restaurant, bar area were a great place to hang out. Their outdoor space was an added bonus! Would highly recommend!!

MOXY Austin is easily one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in—no contest. From the moment you walk in, the attention to detail is impeccable. The rooms are designed like a high-end studio apartment, with every small touch thoughtfully curated for both comfort and style. It feels modern, sleek, and effortlessly cool. The perks are unbeatable: free coffee in the morning, a complimentary cocktail at check-in, and late-night tacos on demand (yes, really). The outdoor patio is a vibe, featuring ping-pong tables and fire pits with burning skulls—a perfect blend of cozy and badass. Beyond the incredible design and amenities, the staff is top-tier—warm, welcoming, and incredibly well-trained. They make you feel right at home from the second you arrive. The atmosphere is fun, lively, and social, and to top it all off, the legendary Hole in the Wall is right next door for live music and great drinks. If they had a pool, I’d seriously consider moving in. If you’re in Austin, don’t even hesitate—stay here.

Parking was difficult and expensive to use valet. Otherwise it is a jewel. The decor is fun, the staff very friendly and it is a good location of you are interesting in being right in the mix of UT Austin
