The property condition is pretty new and room is spacious. However, a few things have room for improvement: 1) check-in was slow 2) service was not up to par (our room did not have any towels initially and we had to request them. There was no soap and body wash soap in the shower run out) 3) breakfast was very basic. Since we booked it at a lower price, it was a pretty good value and we had a decent one night stay.

Construction in front of building. Room and hallway not vacuumed during stay. Room not cleaned on Saturday. Had to get our towels. Phone did not work. Had to use my cell to contact front desk. Bed never made and carpet not vacuumed. Day team was very nice and polite. Night team was not personable. Did not even say goodbye when hanging up the phone.

- Found a bug in our room - Desk light broken upon arrival - Air conditioning didn’t work throughout our stay - Limited towels offered - If you wanted the room tidied you had to request it - Very limited breakfast and noticed unsafe food safety practices - Room wasn’t thoroughly clean upon arrival - Air vent in bathroom was broken and removed and in the vanity storage instead of on the ceiling

Nice place to stay a night

Hotel was nice and clean. Room was getting a little hot went to turn on the AC, but it did not work. Breakfast the next morning was OK.

Absolutely horrible experience. My partner and I traveled to Austin for a small vacation, and we had stayed at previous La Quinta hotels before that were all great. However, the staff at this hotel were absolutely awful. Firstly, they had to put us in a different room from the one we were checked into online due to someone already occupying that room. Then, we had AC unit issues in the room we were put in, and this continued until 4 rooms later we were finally able to unpack our belongings, at around 1am that night. After many attempts to try to speak with the manager in person, the front desk attendant got him on the phone for us where he promised to see us in person, and instructed us to email him for a 10 percent discount on our next stay (which, I’d like to mention, is FAR from fair compensation considering our experience). All this to say, he never responded to our email, and no compensation was given. I will be contacting corporate to report this location, as this ruined a good portion of our trip and has now motivated me to never stay at La Quinta again.
