The property had low quality amenities: shampoo in the bathroom but had to ask for conditioner and lotion, really thin toilet paper & kleenex, dirty surfaces on inside door of bathroom, few options for the breakfast. Positives are the staff members were very helpful, the beds & pillows were comfortable, parking was well lit as well as the bedside lamps.

The hotel was nice and quiet and in a convenient area, within walking distance of the Domain. This was our first trip to downtown Austin, and the hotel was convenient to the major highway for all of our exploration trips. Room was clean and comfortable. My only gripe might be that there were very tiny shampoo and soap samples, so I had to keep asking for more (we specifically didn't bring those items thinking the hotel would have them). Other than that, all was good!

My room was very clean. The show has a couple of area's that needed a deep clean, there is some mold in there. the Back of the doors are very dirty. The Mirror light didn't work the entire time. I thought the room overall was great. The front desk clerks were very nice and acommodating.

Upon arrival, we were checked into a room that looked as if it had been pried open with a crow bar. The walls and bathtub looked as though a sludge hammer had been taken to it. It was unsafe to say the least. We were then moved to second room that smelled like cigarette smoke due to the next door neighbors smoking in their non smoking room. We were moved to a 3rd room. It was clean, but the room is very old and looks it. The hotel is loud and noisy. The pool was padlocked closed and unusable. Breakfast was gone by 8:30 despite being served until 10, and there was a crowded breakfast area of people waiting for another buffet of food to be restocked. That took 20 minutes. I’m sure this was due to understaffing as there was one person tending to breakfast. The front desk staff was friendly, and they tried their best to get us a clean/ safe room since we couldn’t get a refund. Had we been able to, we would have just checked out. I had a young daughter with me, and the grounds just felt unsafe. The whole 3rd floor of our first room looks like it’s had a lot of break ins. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. If I could post a photo of the crow bared door, I would.

I picked this property based on the claim it was recently renovated. The lobby definitely was but not our room. The nozzle in the tub was partially attached to the wall. Walls were stained in spots and beat up. There is a bite shaped mark in the bathroom wall. We had a 2 night stay and the room was not touched after arrival. The beds are uncomfortable. And despite being on the top floor, outside was noisy at all hours.
