My recent stay at The Cambria was, unfortunately, a series of frustrations that significantly impacted our experience. To start, the shower water pressure in our room on the 16th floor was abysmal, making it nearly impossible to have a comfortable or efficient shower. Compounding this, the bathroom lights were unreliable, failing to turn on several times and even shutting off randomly while I was in the shower, which was both inconvenient and unsettling. On Saturday morning at 7:30 AM, the fire alarm blared, jolting us awake. It took nearly 30 minutes for staff to address the issue and turn it off, which felt like an eternity and left us rattled. No clear explanation or follow-up was provided, adding to the frustration. Our room’s location on the 16th floor, right by the lively limestone party area, was another major issue. The noise from the nearby nightlife was relentless, making it impossible to get any sleep on Friday night. A heads-up about the room’s proximity to this area or an offer to relocate us would have been appreciated, but neither was provided. To top it off, I accidentally left my smart ring charger in the room. Despite multiple calls and emails to housekeeping, I’ve received no response, which is incredibly disappointing and reflects poorly on the hotel’s customer service. Overall, the combination of poor water pressure, faulty lighting, a disruptive fire alarm, excessive noise, and unresponsive staff made this stay far from enjoyable. I expected better from

We had several issues when we first arrived, one with getting our keys and being given the wrong room number, which took them a while to figure out. Then the safe was locked when we went into the room, and though I contacted them, no one actually responded to fix it. I also found trash, including a used woman's maxi pad under the sink, along with several Kleenex. The shower was pretty dirty, with mold growing along the bottom inside and some outside, as well as a substantial leak from what I'm guessing was the drain that soaked some of my luggage that was in the bathroom but no where near the door (it was clearly leaking from under the shower basin). I was also shocked that the Valet parking fee was $55 per night, not including gratuity, and when you wanted to tip them in the app, it added a $.99 fee per transaction. I've stayed here before, but this will for sure be the last time we stay at this location.
