Tiny rooms!! Our vehicle got broken into in the ‘hotel carpark’ which is located up and across the road. For some reason only 1 person cooks any eggs, upon ordering, for the buffet, meaning there is always a big line. Clearly it doesn’t work.

Great Choice and Getting Better

This hotel is very new, the property and staff are excellent! The eco program is great and well rewarded to participants…yet the new shower heads are not water savers!! The related hotel architects and Auckland codes, boohoo. The room cleaning and amenity restocking clarified/coordinated for “late” risers has been interesting. Regardless, this new hotel is excellent. Highly Recommended.

This property is in an excellent location. Shopping on Qeens St is only few minutes walk. You can get to ferry and cruise ship in 10 minutes. Area is very safe to walk at night. Our room was spotless and the shower was great…..lots of hot water.

Be careful at this hotel. They charged me on arrival a security deposit - to cover any incidentals! NZ$200. My card was debited immediately. I had prepaid my accommodation. When I checked out, I had not incurred any additional costs. They informed me that I would therefore receive a full refund - but not for 5 days.

Beautiful room

Room was stunning. However it wasn’t ready until 30 mins post check in time. Female manager on the desk rolled her eyes several times at other customers. I get it was stressful as rooms didn’t seem to be ready for several people that day, but remember you’re front of house! Despite this the hotel was stunning, great location, room was bright and spacious. Just a side note, they charge a refundable deposit to your credit card on arrival over and above the room fee for any damages (they refunded it without checking the room, so unsure the rationale).

Awesome property. Very walkable to the harbor, sky tower, weta, square and more. The staff was very friendly, room was clean and facilities all in order. There is on site parking. Although the staff member was a LA Lakers fan, ha, I would certainly stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Super Stay in Auckland

We have recently been traveling a lot internationally and this is the finest mid-priced hotel we have stayed in in recent years. New very modern urban facility, wonderful beds, decent-sized rooms, no opulence, just very well done basics for reasonable price with lobby bar and nice restaurant. Great location on edge of City Center on Auckland.
