Nice, but perturbed.

Location great to UA. Lots of restaurants. Room spacious. Kitchen didn’t have any paper or cloth but was nice. Staff helpful. Little perturbed that Fox News seemed to be “blacked out” on cable. It was listed on the guide, but station would not load. ALL the other news channels loaded fine so it looked like an intentional decision. We heard another guest complaining at desk about this so evidently it was this way in every room. We can certainly survive not watching FNC, but the fact someone decided that for us is insulting. So much so that it makes me not want to use this hotel or any in its chain again.

First time to stay at StayApt Suites Room was large but on drawers for clothes Odd for a hotel that says they are an Extended Stay Hotel If we haas been there for more that a couple of nights we would have had no where to put clothes 4 hangers in closet Also no soap or lotion in bath room except for shampoo and body wash in the shower Coffer but no creamer or sugar

Will not return - all disappointing

The property was advertised as one price, and then we were charged significantly more. It was also advertised as being a 15 minute walk to campus, but it was actually almost an hour walk to campus on busy roads without sidewalks (in other words, not walkable). Additionally, there was a brown smear on the bathroom wall - I’m hoping it was mud and not feces, but I didn’t investigate.

Disappointing

When we checked in we found our suite had a lamp that didn't work and a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. We couldn't figure out how to start the dishwasher, so we assumed it was broken and asked for a different suite. The new one had the same problem, at which point we realized that there's some trick to starting the dishwasher that was unknown to us (and apparently also do the desk clerk). The suites have other deficiencies as well, e.g., no rack for your suitcases, no chest of drawers in the bedroom, and very few dishes even when they are clean. The upside is that they are clean and spacious. Still, we were disappointed and will not be coming back.
