This hotel is lovely and a good location for exploring the University. Beds are so comfortable and staff are friendly. The night of our stay, there was a fire alarm at 2:45 am. We were trapped outside in the pouring rain for 20 minutes.

My Experience

Arrived at Graduate Hotel at check in time April 16th,2025, after driving 6 hours from Florida , only to be told my Accessible room that I had requested and reserved had been given to someone else. I was informed there were no other accessible rooms available. Its beyond me why the front desk would give my reserved room to someone else. Manager offered via Jazelle at front desk to get myself, grandson and my son a room at another hotel. Although this was a nice gesture , we were tired and still had to get ready to go to my other grandson Fraternity Probate in 2 1/2 hours. So we ended up with a small room with 2 double beds. My son is 6'5 my grandson 6'4 who ended up sleeping on the floor. I am disabled and had to sit on the toilet to take a sponge bath out of the sink. They did give me extra towels for bathroom floor. Also gave each of us credit at either one of the restaurants in the hotel. They also gave me a total refund on the room. Im still waiting on it to be deposited back into my account as i got the room through Expedia. Special thank you to Jazelle ( hope im spelling name correctly) As she was very patient, professional, kind , understanding, empathetic , with good attitude. Jazelle was absolutely the best. Special mention of the young lady at the snack bar by the front desk Memory serves me right i believe her name is Mary Michael. Was very accommodating. Also the other young lady there at the snack bar whose name i dont remember. Thank you

The property-especially the decor was really cool with all the auburn specific decor. The staff was very nice. However, we had several issues. The biggest was that we were on the fourth floor (insert the restaurant and bar) and it sounded like people were just moving chairs above us all night. We also could never get onto the WiFi and I’m pretty sure the shampoo and body wash were simply watered down to extend the bottles lives. So, overall, really beautiful hotel but they have some kinks to work out.

Nice room. Needs help with hotel management

Room is very nice, and location is great. It’s a bit tacky to give guests at the hotel a 90 minute wait just to get a seat at the bar on a weeknight. The app that’s used for the valet is a complete disaster, user interface is terrible. Way too many clicks needed and doesn’t connect to payment to the hotel.
