I haven’t stayed at Tropicana in such a long time and to come back to celebrate my birthday was a total disaster. 1st off if your going to the smoking rooms it’s in the north tower with no view. 1 of my friends view was actually inside the casino which was ridiculous. Upon checking in when I asked for something with a slight view the staff who checked us in had an attitude and said there’s no view for smoking rooms and just said insert ur card, I was already turned off from her attitude alone. I like the text for housekeeping feature however when I requested my room be straightened up housekeeping left a bag of toiletries and sheets for me to fix the bed with! I’m on vacation the last thing I want to do is make up a bed. The hallways are outdated and holes throughout the tower. Even my room had a hole in the bathroom wall behind the shower. The shower pressure is aloootttt so be careful when u first turn on the water it could cause flooding. The thermostat is old and outdated I was very disgusted and not to mention no one told us the indoor pool was closed I walked so far to the pool just for it to be blocked off. I rate this trip a 3 overall I mainly stayed here because I knew it would be cold and the Tropicana does have a lot or restaurants and bars that are pretty good but I doubt I will be returning to stay.

The room where we stayed didn’t have hot water so we were transferred to a second room in the same tower which also did not have water. Then we were again transferred to a third room in a different tower which was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. I spent approximately 4 hours trying to get the room I paid for which had hot water and did not smell which never happened. I ended up booking a different hotel.

My daughters and I have been coming here for the past 11 years around Christmas as our annual mother daughter tradition. The hotel can use some upgrades. Elevators are old, area outside not so safe at times . Yet we love the restaurants and shops . Hopefully, they will start to upgrade some things .

The hotel restaurant and stores area is nice, but the rooms could use some updating. The room was cold and when I turned the heat on low it was so hot in the room. I was up every two hours with the noise from the air. The bed was a little soft for my liking, but that's a me thing not an issue.
