The only thing i didnt like was that the air conditioner wasnt working on the room we was in when we checked in we got moved 3 times we finally gor a working air conditioner

Dated decor, no hot water!

Conveniently located adjacent to and connected to, Ballys on the boardwalk. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but the decor is very dated and the room poorly lit by a selection of shaded table and floor lamps. Nowadays, with modern LED lighting in most homes, it needs improvement. Most notable was the total lack of hot water. You could run the tap for 20 minutes, as suggested by the front desk! But the water never gets hot......... just warm. Worse still, is the way the front desk staff blatantly lie about it being fixed the next day. Looking back at other reviews, it is apparent this is a long standing problem which the property has no interest in fixing.

We had a great time and would go again. The Claridge is a great place for families and we enjoy the restaurant and the pool. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the proximity to the boardwalk is unbeatable. Unfortunately, we kept missing housekeeping, and our room was only cleaned one during our stay.

1. Elevators take up to 20 min to arrive 2. Short staffed, can't get anyone to answer the phone @ desk 3. Housekeeping didn't have washcloths, offered me hand towels 4. Air conditioning took the whole day to cool the room - uncomfortable 5. Refrigerator was barely cold 6. Very hot & humid in hallways and lobby Overall, not a great experience - would not recommend or stay again.

Cute place but I had to move to 3 rooms due to lack of hot water and the bathroom door being broken and almost fell on my hand in the second room. It was my britnday weekend and the inconvenience was annoying.
